The downtime will vary from none to moderate downtime which includes feeling tight and dry, peeling, redness as well as darkening of pigmentations. The downtime can last about 3-10 days based on type and depth of chemical peels.
A course of 4-6 fortnightly peel treatments is recommended for optimal results, depending on your skin requirements.
• Certain peels may require your skin to be prepped with active ingredients to maximise results and ensure a safe and effective treatment for a minimum of 14 days before your treatment.

• Typically, you can resume your usual skincare regimen 3-5 days post-treatment or when all signs of inflammation have subsided.
• Avoid all active/exfoliating skincare ingredients for 5 days
• Avoid sun exposure and strenuous exercise for 24 hours
• Avoid facial waxing for a week after your chemical peel
• Avoid using makeup for a minimum of 8 hours after your chemical peel
